This weekend's message was called Mothers Who Love. I thought some great tips for parents were: * spend at least one hour a week inquiring into your child's heart * teach your child to pray as soon as he/she can speak
Another point that hit me was the question: "What bible are your kids reading when they look at you?" It was directed to moms being Mother's Day - but that is a good question I believe for parents in general. You are teaching them even when you don't think you are "teaching" them.
Other points that I thought were good and worth pondering: * ETERNITY. There are two choices. You don't die and that's the end of you. There is eternal life and eternal death. Now is the time to choose.
As Pastor Mamie said, our country needs parents to be parents. With God's help you can do it!
