BEYOND THE WALLS: Part 2 - Made for a Mission

  1. What God spoke to me this week during the message was that satan does have a ploy and a plan. To keep us busy, distracted, entertained. If we are all honest, he does a pretty good job. But we have to know the truth and decide how we will live and who is greater.....the One who is in me....or the one who is in the world.

I really like the "Today's English Version" translation of 2 Cor. 5:18 from the outline: Christ changed us (me) from enemies into His friends and gave us (me) the task of making others His friends also.

That explains the "ministry of reconciliation" - just like the translation says....in "Today's English".

I thank God that He built a church that cares about what He cares about. The lost. The lost here in Butler, the lost in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam. Lost people are lost people. Thank God for the heart of CLC to reach lost people.

I am really looking forward to hearing more about Cuba this Sunday and I pray that God moves on people's hearts. Our tithe (10%) is to go to our local storehouse (in my case CLC) - but what are we willing to sacrifice to give an offering? To go above and beyond? God has given it all to us anyway.

I can't wait to see what God does through the people of CLC.
