As a member of the Worship Time, I thought this service was phenomenal. The Desert Song testimony video was so powerful. I probalby have watched it 10-15 times and it still moves my heart. You can find it on U-tube if you want to re-watch it or share it with someone.
The testimony was someone walking out all of the things that were in the sermon. Keep walking - keep moving forward - NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL! Don't lay down and quit when bad things happen or when it gets hard. Push into God and He will and does meet you - that is where you will find your strength and peace and comfort - only in God and doing God's will. God is bigger than our circumstances.
The other thing that I really liked about the testimony and even our church - is we don't have to pretend. We don't have to pretend to have it all together or that we never make mistakes. God doesn't want us to pretend either. Tell God your ture feelings, but look in His Word and decide what you are going to believe and confess in spite of your feelings.
This message impacted me like every other one does. Hebrews 13:5, the Amplified translation reminds me that in NO WAY whatsoever will God EVER let me go. We struggle on earth to gain the attention & love of human beings, & they desert us a lot of times. However, God never will. God will never ever leave us. It is also so true that we need to walk by faith, & teaching ourselves to do this is not easy; but God will teach us if we allow HIm. Walking by faith is the ONLY way that I have gotten through a lot of things in life. Walk by faith & remember God will never ever leave you.
